“迎新周”，是专门对新生开展的一系列活动，主要介绍澳大利亚的基本常识、学校所在地区的生活情况（如交通、租房、购物、打工等）、学校及院系的基本情况（如学校各类设施的位置、图书馆的使用、如何选课、交费、课程设置及要求等），校内活动（如学生会、各类社团等），部分学校还会组织校园游览。

因此，对于不熟悉澳洲的国际学生来说，迎新周尤其重要，可以帮助他们尽快熟悉和适应澳洲生活。所以，小爱强烈建议所有的新生都去参加！
